The launch price of the pilot series is CAD $6,500. A $2,000 deposit is due on reservation, and the $4,500 balance is payable on delivery.
How does the reservation work?
You fill in the form on the Reserve page. Our team contacts you to confirm your place, then you receive an invoice by email with a secure payment link for the deposit.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Payment is made by credit card, Interac transfer or bank transfer, through the secure link sent with your invoice.
Are shipping costs included in the price?
No. Shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility and will be given to you when your order is confirmed, according to the destination.
What happens if I change my mind after reserving?
If work on your instrument has not yet begun, your deposit is refunded in full, less any processing fees. Those fees, where applicable, are the non-refundable transaction fees charged by our payment platform when payment is made by credit card. A deposit paid by Interac or bank transfer generally incurs no such fee. Once work has begun, the deposit is no longer refundable, but it remains transferable to a future order.
What happens if every unit of the pilot series is already reserved?
You can still fill in the reservation form: you will be placed on our waiting list for the next production run, and we will contact you first. The $6,500 price is an introductory price for the pilot series; the price of subsequent production runs may be adjusted.
How long does the build take?
Every Trigtare is shaped by hand. The build time will be given to you precisely when your reservation is confirmed.
Can I try the instrument before buying?
A supervised trial can be arranged subject to availability. Contact us to discuss it.
Is the instrument under warranty?
Yes, every Trigtare is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty against defects in workmanship. Contact us for the full details.
Why the name Trigtare?
The “TRI” recalls the three string sections forming the Y networks that have always defined the “Tritare”; the “G” stands for the guitar mode that was added. The full story of the name is on the About page.
